Working theory description:

 

The double-acting feature of this hydraulic cylinder means that it can exert force in both directions, both extending and retracting the piston. This is achieved by the use of two hydraulic ports, one on each end cap, which allow hydraulic fluid to flow into and out of the cylinder.

 

When hydraulic fluid is pumped into one of the ports, it pushes the piston in one direction, extending the cylinder. When the fluid is pumped into the other port, it pushes the piston in the opposite direction, retracting the cylinder. The tie rods ensure that the cylinder assembly remains stable during these movements.

For example : a cylinder has 80 mm bore,45mmrod , rod end with FA type ,and workingpressure 100kgf/cm2

ans : 1.based on FA type, table 1 shows

2.with n=2 and table 2,L can be foundas 1980mm

3.based on FA type and extermal dimensions 

l=F+W+H+CA=24+35+18+75=152mm

4.max.storke S=L—l=1980-152=1828mm

Alignment steps:


1.Turn lock nut towards counter clockwise with 1/4circle by wrench.

 

2.Using hex . wrench to adjust thealignment screw B:

1)clockwise, rod speed will be slow down

2)counter clockwise, rod speed will be up.

 

3.After alignment ,use hex. wrerch to fix thealignment screwB,and then tighten thecushion nut C to prevent possible

 

leakage from cushion seal D

 

4.Tighten the lock nut A
