1.The mold oil cylinder is operated by a hydraulic system that monitors the flow and pressure of hydraulic oil to regulate the mold cylinder.
2.The cylinder is fitted with an inner movable piston which is affected by the hydraulic pressure and manner of the oil.
When hydraulic oil is pushed into the mold's cylinder, it infiltrates the interior movable cavity, where the pressure of the hydraulic oil applies a certain amount of force onto the piston, resulting in motion.
3.This motion of the piston can be linear or rotational, this depends on the design and application of the mold oil cylinder.
MDH stands for Mold Tie-rod Cylinders, which arecylinders with tie-rods.
They come in two types: A and C.
Type A features a double-acting system;
type C has double rods.
The maximum working pressure of MDH varies: 70 kgf/cm whenMDH-70 is equipped and 140 kgf/cm when MDH-140 is equipped.
Both types are only available with“FA” type mounting.
WithMDH-70, it usually comes with C class rods.
MDH-140 usually comes with B class rods.
For customized needs, one can choose MDH-70 with B class rods or MDH-140 with C class rods – butthis is to be specified.
Moreover, the bore temperature(mm) of MDH can vary: 40, 50, 63, 80, 100, 125, 150, 160, 180, 200, 250.
